GIGA SHANE // JAZZ GUITARIST
Philadelphia educated guitarist Giga Shane cut his teeth at the original North Philadelphia Ortlieb's Jazzhaus and is steeped in the style of bebop greats such as Pat Martino, Joe Pass, and Wes Montgomery. Stepping out on his own Shane's playing is fluent in the classical vocabulary through his own distinct and original voice and voicings.
Song and Review is a series of jazz guitar performances split into fourteen second segments inspired by the creative potential of the Instagram story format. Instagram stories were short enough, I felt, to engage with on a daily basis and do something extra.
